Red Clover Bioferment

Red clover has a long history in herbal medicine, valued for its anti-inflammatory properties. It contains a potent cocktail of isoflavones, such as genistein, diadzein, formononetin, and biochanin A. What are isoflavones? They're antioxidants that protect your skin (and hair!) from oxidative stress, which can cause premature aging. In addition, these flowers are fermented with Lactobacillus, which breaks down the compounds to a more potent converted form.

Cornflower

Also known as Bluebottle or Bluebonnet, this flower has been historically used for its wound-healing abilities, even at one point used to fight the plague and other infectious diseases. It contains tannins and flavonoids, as well as a multitude of other phytochemicals. Its astringent properties make it excellent for minimizing the appearance of pores. Apigenin, an anti-oxident phytochemical found in this plant, has a very gentle astringent effect that soothes inflamation and irritated skin, helping to increase tone.

Edelweiss

Grown at high altitude way up in the Swiss Alps, it contains phytochemicals such as Chlorogenic acid, Luteolin, Bisabolane, and b-Sitosterol. Rich in antioxidant activity, it is also great for anti-aging and free radical scavenging.
